Two young men, aged 17 and 24, entered the apartment of the 26-year-old victim. They allegedly wanted to use his phone. As soon as they were inside, they began punching the 26-year-old in the head and kicking him all over his body. They threatened to use a knife if he did not give them one thousand zlotys.
The victim did not have that amount with him, so one of the attackers stabbed him in the right thigh. The perpetrators then took his mobile phone and laptop and left the scene.
They were arrested several hours later. They are residents of Chojnów. The younger of the two was wanted because he had escaped from a juvenile detention centre.
At the request of the police and the prosecutor’s office, the court remanded both attackers in temporary custody for three months. The suspects could face up to 15 years in prison.
