We first wrote about the case on September 8 in the article Car and outbuilding fire in Godzieszów.
As we have established, firefighters have recently been dispatched several times (six or seven) to fires on the same property in Godzieszów (Nowogrodziec gmina). Fire service operations took place, among other times, on the nights of September 11–12 and 12–13. The most recent one was on September 21.
Does this mean that a serial arsonist is operating in the area? The Nowogrodziec police station is conducting an investigation into the matter. It is being conducted under Article 288 of the Criminal Code, concerning destruction of property. The perpetrator or perpetrators could face up to five years in prison.

It is already known that the losses amount to several thousand zlotys. As a result of the series of fires, three cars were damaged (all of them had previously been in less-than-perfect condition, but were operational), as well as a shed and a henhouse.

We have received a report that another fire has broken out on the aforementioned property. This time, a building is burning. Hopefully, the police will quickly identify and arrest the perpetrators!

Volunteer firefighters from Czerna wrote on their Facebook profile about Thursday’s fire:
First, a gas cylinder was carried outside the building, and two members of our unit entered the burning house wearing breathing apparatus and carrying a hose line. After the flames had been extinguished, we began removing water-damaged and scorched furniture and belongings from the rooms.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec (four units), Lubań and Nowogrodziec (two units each), as well as Czerna and Wykroty, took part in the operations.
