Radio Wrocław’s studio hosted the leader of the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives (an initiative associated with Bolesławiec’s mayor Piotr Roman), Robert Raczyński, the president of Lubin, who spoke, among other things, about the Nonpartisan Local Government Representatives joining forces with the Lower Silesian Local Government Movement of Marshal Cezary Przybylski:

I think that perhaps various details still need to be worked out. As for the idea itself of a single, essentially nonpartisan local government movement, the decision has been made and we will unite. [...]

The aim is to develop a joint programme and, of course, a joint list. […] The aim is to build a coalition for the 2018 elections…

And he added:

I don’t know what PiS thinks. Everything is possible, because PiS shows that it can make any legal change it wants and imagines. These changes actually take place at night; the bills are submitted by MPs and therefore kept hidden in drawers, and they are presented an hour before the agenda is adopted. Anything is possible; of course, there could be one round, or elections for mayors or city presidents might not take place at all – after all, this is actually a new development that has existed in Poland since 2002.
