The competition involving fourteen men’s teams and twelve women’s teams representing pro-defence associations from across Poland was summed up during a ceremonial assembly, at which the winners were presented with cups, diplomas and material prizes. The championships were summarised and the winning teams honoured by: Dorota Szwejser from the Department of Education, Culture and Heritage of the Ministry of National Defence; vice-president of the Commando Association Bogdan Fiałkowski; and commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Colonel Paweł Świtalski.

Dorota Szwejser warmly congratulated all the participants on their passion and perseverance in pursuing their goals, wishing them success in future editions of the championships. The commander of the Bolesławiec artillerymen emphasised their exemplary discipline and fair play conduct during the three-day competition. “I am convinced that the atmosphere of the Championships and the time spent in Bolesławiec will remain in your memories forever,” summed up the event’s main organiser, the vice-president of the Commando Association. (In addition, all participants received gifts and material prizes from the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Commando Special Company.)

    3. Klasztor Association from Lubomierz.

The sports and defence championships were commissioned and financed by the Ministry of National Defence. The next edition will take place next year.
