As we read on the Facebook profile of the volunteer firefighters from Trzebień:
On September 8 at 11:49 p.m., we were dispatched to a drowning at a body of water in a former gravel pit in Trzebień Mały.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Trzebień took part in the operation, along with an emergency medical team and the police.
It is known that an angler drowned. The police and prosecutor’s office are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
