In an interview with Kazimierz Marczewski, a journalist from Bolec.Info, mayor Piotr Roman said that he did not yet know what his political future would be. “We lack basic information; I do not know what the electoral system will be. There is talk of revolutionary changes,” the mayor emphasized. “I will make the decision [o kandydowaniu, lub nie, na kolejną kadencję] in spring.
The conversation also mentioned the Bezpartyjni local-government movement. P. Roman: “It is a way for people and committees that do not identify with any of the existing political parties to also run in local elections.”
At the end of the interview, the journalist asked his interlocutor whether he saw a candidate who could threaten him in the mayoral election. “I do not know who wants to run; I hear various names,” Piotr Roman diplomatically replied.
