On Sunday, September 3, the Regional Harvest Festival was held in Uraz (Oborniki Śląskie Municipality). Nowa Wieś represented Bolesławiec Municipality at the event; its wreath took second place at this year’s Municipal Harvest Festival in Brzeźnik and first place in the Bolesławiec County competition.
The wreath made by residents of Bolesławiec Municipality once again proved to be the best at the harvest festival in Uraz and, consequently, will represent Lower Silesia at the Presidential Harvest Festival, which will be held on September 17 in Spała. (This will be another locality in Bolesławiec Municipality to represent our voivodeship in Spała. Previously, representatives of Kraśnik Dolny, Ocice and Żeliszów took part in the Presidential Harvest Festival).
