The incident took place on August 26, at approximately 1:45 p.m., on Kasprowicza Street in Jelenia Góra. Police officers stopped a scooter rider for a traffic check. The man attracted the officers’ attention because, upon seeing them, he threw “something” into the bushes.

The rider turned out to be a 35-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra, and what he wanted to get rid of was two ziplock bags. One contained amphetamine and the other marijuana.

The police are currently investigating all the circumstances of the case in detail, checking where the seized narcotics came from and whether the 35-year-old was selling them.

The Jelenia Góra resident may face up to three years in prison.
