The Municipal Harvest Festival, hosted by Brzeźnik, is now behind us. The local volunteer firefighters – “for their selfless fight against the forces of fire and nature, as a token of appreciation for saving people’s health, lives and property in the face of accidents, disasters and various random incidents” – received a new Mercedes-Benz rescue and firefighting vehicle.
The vehicle handover document was presented to OSP president Jan Kulczycki. The keys to the vehicle, handed over by Bolesławiec Municipality head Andrzej Dutkowski, senior brigadier Adam Konieczny, Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Wrocław, and Zdzisław Rzewuski, director of the Provincial Branch of the Environmental Protection and Water Management Fund in Jelenia Góra, were received by Andrzej Sokalski, chief of OSP in Brzeźnik, and Kamila Burdzy – the driver.
