Police officers detained two men suspected of misappropriating a phone and a wallet containing money. The offences took place on 11 and 18 August at commercial and service establishments in Bolesławiec. In both cases, the owners had accidentally left their belongings on a shop counter.
The 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec admitted to misappropriating a phone worth PLN 670. The 42-year-old from Złotoryja County, who appropriated PLN 660, gave a statement in the case.
The recovered property will be returned to its owners. Both suspects face up to five years in prison.
