The incident took place during the night of 20–21 August. The municipal monitoring operator noticed four young men on Sierpnia ’80 Street. They were pulling a large rubbish bin behind them. After a while, one of them climbed onto the bin and began to “ride” it. The others pushed the bin towards Bolesławiec Market Square.
A Municipal Police patrol was immediately sent to the scene. All four rubbish-bin cowboys were fined. (One of the men will also be held responsible for an offence because he was carrying an invalid identity document.)
