Police operations related to the long August weekend began on Friday. Over the course of five days, officers issued nearly 190 fines, including more than 130 for exceeding the speed limit.
Seventeen registration certificates and nine driving licences were seized. What is more, two drunk drivers fell into the officers’ hands. They will answer for their behaviour before the court.
During the August weekend, there were 16 collisions. Fortunately, there were no accidents.
