The Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters website has published a summary of the work of community police officers in the first half of 2017:
For about a year, community police officers from Bolesławiec County have continuously carried out activities under six-month priority plans developed for their service areas. Thanks to this tool, they meet with the public more often, help resolve problems and respond to any irregularities. The plans are developed, among other things, on the basis of information reported by residents.
During the first half of this year, community police officers from Bolesławiec, Kruszyn and Nowogrodziec held around 100 meetings with residents and representatives of various institutions from our county. (During these meetings, topics related to violence, fraud and safety in general were discussed.)
Moreover, the police officers responded in their areas to socially disruptive offences, such as consuming alcohol in a place where it is prohibited, disturbing the peace and public order, or disturbing the night-time quiet. In total, they issued more than 250 fines. (It is worth noting that during the period in question, the community police officers carried out around 450 traffic checks.)
A free application called Moja Komenda makes it easier to contact a community police officer. Telephone numbers for police officers serving your areas are available on the website of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
