Waste in Nowogrodziec gmina. Is the bag-based system not working?

In an email to the editorial office, a Reader wrote:

They took away the bins but left the rubbish behind. And […] people immediately started adding more. I saw a vehicle and a cleaning crew a moment ago, so it’s not that bad.

And he added: – Everything will probably be cleaned up quickly, but more rubbish will appear soon if there is no clear information available to everyone. Utility poles and noticeboards serve a purpose, after all. Or put up a note where the containers used to stand.

Let us recall: Nowogrodziec gmina has a new waste management system. Under the regulations that came into force on 1 July this year, rural areas—as, for example, housing estates in Bolesławiec—will use a bag-based system. Separated waste—in bags of the appropriate color—will be collected once a month, directly from the property. Therefore, residents of villages in Nowogrodziec gmina do not have to transport their waste to the containers that are still located in Nowogrodziec.

Some of our Readers reacted critically to the system change. – The bag system is great; cats tear the bags open at night, and you collect scattered rubbish every day—thank you very much – wrote one of the forum users. Another replied: – Hide the bags and put them out on the day they are collected.
