Between 14 and 16 July, officers from the traffic and prevention departments carried out another inspection operation called “Speed” across the voivodeship. Bolesławiec officers checked 220 vehicles (a total of 5,140 vehicles were checked in Lower Silesia during the operation).
Officers from KPP Bolesławiec issued 161 fines. Moreover, 7 drivers who exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by more than 50 km/h had their driving licences suspended. (Across the voivodeship, 2,818 fines were issued and the driving licences of 110 drivers were suspended).
The police once again appeal for caution and compliance with traffic regulations. “Such intensified inspection operations will continue,” they announce.
