The championships were held from 7 to 9 July 2017 in Toruń, with athletes from 194 clubs competing against one another. In the high jump, the closest battle was fought by Mateusz Tofil of Bolesłavia against his older colleague and the table leader (2.22 m), Maciek Grynienko of UKS Orlica Domaniów.

The athlete coached by Bartosz Gruman and Paweł Wiśniewski came to the championships with a result of 2.13 m, which means he improved his personal best by 4 centimetres and thereby confirmed the Polish Athletics Association qualifying standard for the European U20 Championships in Grosseto, Italy. He is currently staying at COS OPO Spała at a national team training camp, and on 18 July he will fly to the second international event of his career. It is worth noting that Mateusz still has another year as a junior ahead of him; despite this, he has the 11th-best result in Europe in the U20 category.

Among the other Bolesłavia athletes, Dominik Stec finished sixth in the javelin throw with a personal-best result of 58.79 m. In the 2,000-metre steeplechase, Mateusz Bobrowski finished 11th with a time of 6:22.02, while Tobiasz Burzyński finished 12th with a time of 6:22.56.

The 4x400 m relay team finished 13th, consisting of Mateusz Bobrowski, Daniel Najdek, Kacper Popławski and Michał Sobkowicz, with a time of 3:34.93. Outside the scoring places, Kacper Popławski and Michał Sobkowicz competed in the 400 m hurdles, recording times of 59.22 and 59.30 seconds respectively, while Daniel Najdek ran the 800 m in 1:59.89.

MKS Bolesłavia club earned 32 points in the Youth Sports System.
