The incident occurred on the night from Friday to Saturday in the Przylesie housing estate in Lubin. Residents were alarmed by the repeated sound of windows being smashed. They alerted the duty officer at the Lubin police station, who sent patrols from the prevention department to the scene.
Police confirmed the report. They also noticed a man who began running away when he saw the police car. After a brief pursuit, he was detained and taken to police custody.
At the time of his arrest, the man—a 26-year-old resident of Lubin municipality—had more than 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. Officers established that the 26-year-old had been drinking alcohol with friends with whom he had come to Lubin. An argument broke out in front of a shop.
