Officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office, are conducting investigative proceedings into two road incidents that occurred on 19 May and 29 May this year in Legnica
The first accident (19 May) occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. at 8 plac Słowiański (next to the Legnica City Hall building). The driver of a taxi-type vehicle set off as a woman was getting into the vehicle, causing the 74-year-old woman to fall to the ground. The pedestrian, who sustained bodily injuries, was taken to hospital.
The second accident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. at 1 Paderewskiego Street. While reversing, the driver of a light-coloured passenger vehicle struck an 81-year-old woman who was walking along the street behind the vehicle. The driver then took her to her place of residence.
