The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 20, in Rudna. Police officers noticed a young man driving a Volkswagen Golf. They decided to stop him for a check. The 19-year-old, wanting to avoid it, turned onto a dirt road and began to flee. The police officers pursued him.
After several kilometers, the teenager was stopped. It turned out that the 19-year-old resident of Rudna municipality did not have a driving license. Under the regulations that came into force on June 1, the teenager will be charged with a criminal offense. He faces up to five years in prison. Moreover, he will lose his driving license for a period of one to 15 years.
