During Wednesday’s operation, Zgorzelec police officers paid particular attention to the behavior of both drivers toward pedestrians and pedestrians themselves. Law enforcement officers recorded 126 offenses, including 33 committed by pedestrians. Interestingly, cyclists were responsible for as many as 19 offenses. (These mainly involved riding across pedestrian crossings.)
