One of the items on the agenda for the upcoming session of the Bolesławiec City Council will be a vote on a draft resolution which, if adopted, would mean that owners of electric-powered cars would not have to pay for parking in paid parking zones in Bolesławiec. As stated in the justification for the draft resolution:
Introducing a zero parking fee in the paid parking zone for electric-powered vehicles is intended to be an instrument supporting the implementation of the objectives of the “Low-Emission Economy Plan for the City of Bolesławiec”. […]
Promoting environmentally friendly vehicles by waiving parking fees for such vehicles in the paid parking zone will contribute to achieving a lasting environmental effect and increasing residents’ environmental awareness. […] The initiator of the resolution is the Mayor of Bolesławiec.
