At the intersection of Podgórna, Tyrankiewiczów and Zygmunta Augusta streets, two passenger cars (a Renault and a Citroën) and a bus collided.

Update

It is now known that a 68-year-old woman driving a Renault from the direction of Tyrankiewiczów failed to give way to a bus travelling along Zygmunta Augusta, driven by a 75-year-old man from Bolesławiec. (There was also a 31-year-old passenger on the bus; he was unharmed.) The collision caused the passenger car to spin and additionally hit a Citroën travelling along Podgórna Street. The latter was driven by an 81-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality

Two people were injured: the woman in the Renault and the bus driver. Both were taken to hospital. The woman responsible for the accident had her driving licence confiscated.
