Police officers from the Zgorzelec traffic unit received a report that, on a county road before the village of Gronów, a person driving a passenger car had driven into a ditch. According to the caller, the driver in question might have been under the influence of alcohol.
At the scene, officers found a 49-year-old resident of Zgorzelec. He stated that his tire had burst and that this was why he had driven into the ditch. What is more, it emerged that his driving privileges had been revoked.
