Originally a school building, the structure that today houses the District Court has an interesting history, lavish décor and an intriguing iconographic program. Unfortunately, the building and courtroom are not open to visitors on a daily basis. During the Night of Museums, visitors had the opportunity to see the courtroom with a guide. The organizers extend their thanks for making the building available to District Court President Rafał Gruca, Vice-President Zdzisław Patreuha and Court Director Joanna Giza.

This year’s Night of Museums in Bolesławiec is being held for the first time under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Branch of the Association of Polish Museum Professionals. Thirteen museums from Lower Silesia joined the initiative.
