The incident occurred on 17 May on Bohaterów II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street in Zgorzelec. The driver of an Audi, a 21-year-old from Zgorzelec, was travelling at excessive speed when he drove into the rear of a Renault. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. Both participants in the incident were sober.
The police did not fine the young driver. Due to a serious violation of road traffic regulations, they seized the 21-year-old’s driving licence. What is more, the Audi driver will face court for his actions, and the court may impose a driving ban on him.
