The beginning of the game played on November 8 was nervous for both teams. After the first five minutes, StarBol had a five-point lead over Basket-Chrobry Głogów. The Basket players composed themselves and tied the score at 10–10. After several inaccurate plays by the Bolesławiec players, StarBol’s coach called a timeout. After the timeout, StarBol took the lead and did not relinquish it for the rest of the quarter. The first quarter ended 19–15 to the hosts.

In the second quarter, the StarBol players controlled their emotions but still made mistakes. Until the ninth minute of the quarter, Bolesławiec had a seven-point lead. In the final minute, the Głogów players ruthlessly took advantage of a series of StarBol mistakes and took the lead. After 20 minutes of play, the visitors led 37–35.

The match remained even until the middle of the third quarter. Kamil Milancej began scoring for the Bolesławiec team. Unfortunately, the Głogów players then pulled seven points clear of StarBol, taking a 54–47 lead. Paweł Minciel and Dariusz Dzierżyc scored six points in the closing stages of the quarter. However, the final word belonged to Paweł Jaworski of Basket-Chrobry Głogów, who set the quarter score at 19–18 with two successful shots. With 10 minutes remaining, Głogów led StarBol 56–53.

In the final quarter, Basket’s lead reached as many as 10 points (65–55). They then began making mistakes, allowing the hosts to erase the entire deficit within two minutes. With three minutes remaining, StarBol led by one point. Then the roles reversed. In the penultimate minute of the game, Basket had a three-point lead (73–70). Fouled, Paweł Minciel converted only one free throw. Moments later, Wojciech Klimek had a chance to score three points. He was fouled while shooting from under the basket. The ball went in, but the player missed the free throw. With 34 seconds remaining, the score was tied at 73–73. The Głogów players had possession. Jaworski took an unprepared shot from behind the 6.25-metre line and missed. Dzierżyc collected the ball, and Zbigniew Owczarek set the final score at 75–73 for StarBol after an individual play (19–15, 16–22, 18–19, 22–17).

Thanks to the victory, the Bolesławiec team moved up to seventh place. Despite the defeat, the visitors rose to second place.
