Since yesterday, May 16, drivers have been slaloming on Mostowa Street, as well as on Dolne Młyny. They are avoiding the huge potholes cut out by the road workers. During busy periods, you either stop before a pothole or drive into it. That is how the road workers designed it. The potholes are not marked. Perhaps that is for the best, because if they put up any traffic cones there, the slalom would be more difficult.
We remind you that Mostowa Street has been patched for years, and the bridge is in a deplorable condition. The only thing the Zarząd Dróg Powiatowych has done so far is reduce the speed limit there to 30 km/h and, from time to time, put up a warning sign that we can expect bumps in the road.
We have a proposal for the Zarząd Dróg Powiatowych in Bolesławiec: give up on these patches—nothing has been done to these roads for years anyway. Come up with one sign reading “Caution: pothole in the bridge,” get it approved and put it up permanently; perhaps it will catch on in Poland. You will become famous. There are many creative people among you—you can do it! Because neither pleas nor threats can persuade you to make your roads into roads rather than potholes.
For now, you are like that pothole in the road: irritating, dangerous and unnecessary!
