Two tragedies occurred this weekend in Łaziska (Bolesławiec commune). On Sunday, the body of a 55-year-old man was found. The deceased, with his throat cut, was lying in a bathtub without water and fully dressed. He was even wearing shoes.
There was water on the bathroom floor, however. Investigators suspect that the perpetrator tried to destroy evidence. “Operational, investigative and procedural activities are under way,” istotne.pl was told by Ewa Łomnicka, head of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec. “We are waiting for the autopsy results and hope they will answer a number of questions.”
An autopsy will also be performed in the case of the 45-year-old whose body was found in Łaziska on Friday, May 5, and who also had neck injuries. In the comments, readers suggest that we are dealing with a serial killer. “So far, we have no evidence that the two cases are connected,” emphasizes Ewa Łomnicka. “But I cannot rule anything out with 100 percent certainty.”
