The incident occurred on Thursday, May 4. Before 10 p.m., a resident of the city called the Lubin police duty officer and informed him that he had seen two men break into a single-family house.

Officers from the Preventive Division took up the case. At the scene, they noticed a forced door. They entered the house, where there were indeed two burglars. The perpetrators, two residents of Lubin aged 48 and 63, were looking around the house and preparing items to steal. However, they did not manage to steal anything. They were detained and taken into police custody.

They now face up to 10 years in prison.
