The ceremony, held under the patronage of the mayor of Bolesławiec, was the school community’s way of joining the celebrations of the 226th anniversary of the enactment of the first constitution in Europe. The competition consisted of an art contest for primary school pupils and a history competition for gymnasium students. Seven gymnasiums from Bolesławiec took part in the history competition.

The team from GS No. 1 took first place, students from GS No. 4 came second, and students from Gimnazjum Oxpress came third.

This year, the art contest was held under the theme “Bolesławiec Landscape.” Of the 50 entries submitted, the competition committee selected fifteen for distinction.
