Jelenia Góra police identified and then arrested a 40-year-old man suspected of robbery. The incident occurred at the end of November last year. The 40-year-old noticed a teenager on a city bus. The boy’s mobile phone caught his attention. When the victim got off the bus, the suspect followed him. He attacked when the bus driver had driven away. He intimidated the teenager and took his phone, worth PLN 3,000.
The victim notified the police. The thief was arrested. It turned out that the 40-year-old had committed a series of other crimes. He now faces up to 12 years in prison.
