Officers from Kamienna Góra, together with police officers from Zgorzelec and Bogatynia, arrested two residents of Zgorzelec County, aged 23 and 32. Both suspects are accused of property crimes.
The men carried out their criminal activities in two counties: Kamienna Góra County and Zgorzelec County. They broke into shops, apartments and houses. They mainly stole cigarettes and alcohol. The older man will additionally be charged with possession of “piko,” or methamphetamine.
Officers recovered some of the stolen property. They are currently determining who received the remaining stolen items and whether the arrested men have committed other similar offenses.
Both residents of Zgorzelec County now face up to 10 years in prison.
