On Monday, April 10, soldiers of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, students from the Świętoszów school and representatives of the State Forests’ Świętoszów Forest District met to take part in a forest-planting campaign.
The initiative is being held with the participation of local communities under the shared slogan “1,000 trees per minute.” The campaign aims to raise public awareness that no one in Poland plants more trees than the State Forests. Around twenty young trees are planted for every tree that is felled.
The armored soldiers from the Świętoszów brigade support the Świętoszów Forest District in these efforts every year. This time, soldiers from the anti-aircraft squadron joined the campaign. The first sapling was planted by the commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, Colonel Dariusz Parylak, together with Forest District Manager Wojciech Moskaluk.
