On April 10, police officers and municipal guards carried out another “Clear Pavement” operation. The officers identified as many as 73 offenses related to improper vehicle parking. One of the most common involved parking at a pedestrian crossing, on a hatched area or at an intersection (16 offenses). In addition, some drivers failed to comply with the no-stopping sign and parked improperly on the pavement (41 cases).
Seven drivers were cautioned, while 63 were fined. Wheel clamps were installed in eight cases. Three cases will be brought before a court.
