Piotr Roman, who before the session met with the staff of the only school on strike today in Bolesławiec, Gimnazjum Samorządowe nr 2, commented during the City Council meeting on the way the PiS government’s reform was being introduced. “This is reprehensible,” he stressed. He added that a decline in the ruling party’s popularity was already visible in opinion polls and that he hoped this trend would continue. “I have not heard of anyone in Europe carrying out such an operation on education in this way,” he noted.
