Officers from the Zgorzelec District Police Headquarters located a truck driver in Białogórze who exceeded the speed limit by 20 km/h in a built-up area.
During the traffic check, officers detected the smell of alcohol coming from the 44-year-old truck driver. The resident of Nowa Ruda had more than 2‰ of alcohol in his system.
The Nowa Ruda resident now faces up to two years in prison.
