The incident occurred on Monday, 20 March. As we read on the Facebook profile of volunteer firefighters from Czerna (Nowogrodziec gmina):
At 8:44 p.m., the Bolesławiec PSP duty officer alerted our unit to a barn fire in Nowa Wieś. Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that the entire roof of the building was already engulfed in flames.
Six fire service units took part in the operation: three from Nowogrodziec and one each from Bolesławiec, Zebrzydowa and Czerna.
