Police officers from Karpacz detained a 26-year-old resident of Kowary suspected of property damage and criminal threats. The incident occurred on March 17, at around 6 p.m., in Kowary. A drinking binge was taking place in one of the apartments. At one point, one of the partygoers began feeling unwell. An ambulance was called. But when the paramedics entered the apartment, the man began verbally abusing them, threatened to kill them, and then took out his aggression on the ambulance. By kicking it, he damaged the bodywork, causing losses of more than PLN 500.
The drunk vandal was taken into police custody. (At the time of his arrest, he had nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.) He now faces up to five years in prison.
