Officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra identified and arrested a 27-year-old man suspected of theft. The man, arrested in February, stole two surveillance cameras from one of Jelenia Góra’s optical shops. The owner estimated their value at PLN 1,200.
The 27-year-old threw his loot in the trash. (Officers found the stolen property in one of the garbage bins.) The man has probably committed an entire series of similar thefts. He faces up to five years in prison.
