Rainfall and melting snow are causing local flooding in Bolesławiec County. In Nowogrodziec, a flood alert is in effect due to the high water level in the Kwisa River. Fortunately, the trend is downward.
High water levels are also being recorded on the Bóbr and local rivers in the county. On Thursday, firefighters intervened in Nowogrodziec and Tomaszów Bolesławiecki due to local flooding. The fire service also dealt with the effects of the strong wind. Firefighters removed trees and branches broken by the wind from roads in Wartowice, Brzeźnik and Modła.
