On February 14, the Regional Court in Jelenia Góra delivered its verdict in the case of 42-year-old Jan G., whom the prosecutor’s office accused of murdering and brutally raping Ewa P. The crime took place during the night of August 21–22, 1993, near the village of Zbylutów (Lwówek County). The court sentenced G. to life imprisonment. The verdict is not final.
