Let us recall. We wrote about the case in the article Did MZGK bury people on an ordinary road? Councillor Mucha causes a shitstorm during the session. A dispute broke out during the January meeting of the City Council. Councillor Dariusz Mucha from President Piotr Roman’s group said that the Municipal Communal Services Company had buried people on a road outside the cemetery and that other councillors were trying to cover it up. Officials explained that the people had been buried in the cemetery; it was just that planners had designated the plot as a road on paper.
Jan Kisiliczyk, head of the Property and Spatial Management Department, Jan Kisiliczyk explained: – The whole problem arose because there was no flow of information between the municipal services department and the property department; some information got out of sync. The burials organised on plot 92, according to MZGK’s understanding, took place within the cemetery grounds.
We will return to this matter.
