Police officers from Nowogrodziec pursued a man who failed to stop for a traffic check. The officers, who noticed a cracked windscreen in the car of the 26-year-old from Zgorzelec County, wanted to stop him for an inspection. However, he ignored the officers and began to flee.
The pursuit of the 26-year-old ended in Zgorzelec County. The driver drove into a forest. There, he jumped out of the car and began fleeing on foot. The man resisted and threatened the police officers. At one point, he aimed a replica gun at them and... bit one of the officers on the hand. He was arrested shortly afterwards.
Moreover, the officers found nearly 200 doses of amphetamine in the man's car. The 26-year-old could now face up to 10 years in prison.
