The much-publicized visit of Minister of National Defence Antoni Macierewicz to the military picnic in Bolesławiec did not take place. The reason? Ministry officials advised their boss not to tempt fate. – American soldiers have only just arrived in Poland, and have already caused several collisions, – employees of the Ministry of National Defence say. – The probability of an accident like the one near Toruń was simply too high. In our mind's eye, we could already see the headlines in the tabloids. What is more, a collision between the minister's convoy and military vehicles could have ended tragically for the Polish side.
Officials add that, admittedly, the minister would certainly not have hurried to the Bolesławiec picnic as much as he did to the gala of the “wSieci” weekly, but PR advisers nevertheless told Macierewicz that it was better to be safe than sorry. Especially since this could have jeopardized Polish-American relations. Apparently, there was also pressure from the administration of the newly inaugurated US president Donald Trump. – Ever since information appeared that the head of the Ministry of National Defence would come, we were on the highest state of alert, – a senior US Army officer tells Nieprawdopodobny News. – Now we can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Sparrows are chirping that these were not the only reasons for Antoni Macierewicz's absence in the City of Ceramics. The problem is that the minister does not like to go anywhere without his protégé Bartłomiej Misiewicz, who, as is known, has “disappeared” from the Ministry of National Defence's website and is currently on leave. Thus, the effort of the Government Protection Bureau officers who inspected the Imperium club for Misiewicz went to waste.
(this is an unbelievable news story; the situation described is not real; the intern thanks Gawron, Geniusz Zła for the idea)
