Bolesławiec police officers conducted another inspection operation called Seat Belts in our county. The officers inspected more than 120 vehicles and found as many as 85 cases in which drivers or passengers were not wearing their seat belts.
– Seat belts are the most effective known means of saving human lives during a road incident. At the moment of a crash, they are often the only chance of survival. One of the main causes of fatalities and injuries among road-accident victims is precisely the violation of regulations concerning the mandatory use of these devices, as well as devices intended for the safe transport of children – say police officers from Bolesławiec.
