The Bolesławiec championships for primary and lower secondary schools in relay cross-country races were held on Monday, 29 September, at the Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street.
In the primary-school category, the girls competed over 800 m, while the boys raced over 1,000 m. Primary School No. 1 triumphed in the team classifications for both girls and boys. The Bolesławiec girls’ champions were: Honorata Polak, Oliwia Budzińska, Joanna Buczkowska, Monika Sondaj, Sandra Godek, Kinga Ślusarczyk, Agata Nastalska, Iza Kręgiel, Kamila Połczyńska and Karolina Kwiatkowska. The city’s boys’ champions were: Kacper Wojciechowski, Tomasz Grzyb, Kamil Igras, Arwid Krzyżanowski, Piotr Wachowicz, Amar Furtak, Damian Dobiech, Oliwier Gasiak, Michał Świątkowski and Piotr Sobieraj.
In the lower-secondary-school category, the girls competed over 1,000 m, while the boys raced over 1,200 m. In the girls’ team classification, first place went to Lower Secondary School No. 2, whose team consisted of: Marta Kowalik, Sara Musiał, Daria Kłosowska, Natalia Nanaszko, Joanna Pieszko, Kamila Kruk, Aleksandra Bojanowska, Katarzyna Jankowska, Paulina Olszowy and Daria Zięcik.
The team from Lower Secondary School No. 1 triumphed in the boys’ category. The championship titles were won by: Maciej Chojnacki, Julian Partyka, Dawid Kłos, Hubert Łukaszewicz, Adrian Maleńczuk, Damian Stępak, Kamil Tur, Krzysztof Karpowicz, Tomasz Kapuściński and Jan Wojciechowski.
The competition was organised by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre.

The county championships in relay cross-country races were also held at the Water and Sports Centre on the same day. In the primary-school category, Primary School No. 1 triumphed again. In the lower-secondary-school category, the girls’ and boys’ teams from the Lower Secondary School in Nowogrodziec took first place. The county champions were: Martyna Cybulska, Aleksandra Wołoszyn, Natalia Plizga, Anna Twardowska, Monika Rutyna, Patrycja Kaczorowska, Magda Jakubczyk, Ola Juraszek, Magdalena Rosa and Ula Klimek. The county champions were: Daniel Biegacz, Paweł Tur, Tomasz Mucek, Wojciech Kukawski, Michał Szuter, Marcin Szuter, Michał Nowak, Kacper Wrzeszcz, Damian Bober and Jakub Piekarz.
In the category of upper-secondary schools, the teams from I LO were unrivalled. The county champions were: Monika Luberda, Łucja Kołomyjska, Patrycja Rauch, Agnieszka Janicka, Magda Jurasik, Paulina Jasiukiewicz, Kamila Kornacka, Dominika Hołowiak, Dagmara Omiatacz and Ewelina Pecich. The county champions were: Wojciech Kowalski, Bartosz Wiktor, Bartłomiej Ornowski, Karol Wojdyła, Yevgen Nikitin, Mateusz Madej, Maciej Chojnacki, Wojciech Pachnik, Maciej Kędzia and Konrad Słobodzian.
The championships were organised by MOS. The winning teams will represent our county at the provincial competition, which will be held on 9–10 October in Olszyna Lubańska.
