The incident occurred on Monday, January 16, on the A4 near Szczytnica (Warta Bolesławiecka commune). A huge traffic jam formed on the road toward the border with Germany. As our Reader informed us: “A collision or accident on the A4 toward the border, before kilometer 56, although the traffic jam is already forming at kilometer 58.”

It is now known that the Citroën driver, a resident of Łódź, lost control of the vehicle and left the road. The car landed in a ditch. According to preliminary findings, the Łódź resident did not suffer any more serious injuries. Nevertheless, he was taken to hospital.
The motorway is now clear.
