Lubin police have identified one of the men suspected of damaging property and inciting hatred on national grounds. The incident occurred on January 1, 2017, shortly after midnight. The perpetrators destroyed the entrance door of a food establishment, smashed its windows and also painted vulgar slogans inciting racial hatred on the facade of the building in which it is located.

The 28-year-old resident of Lubin suspected of committing the offense was arrested. It turned out that the man was associated with the hooligan fan scene. Moreover, officers determined that the football hooligan was also connected with another incident that occurred during one of the football matches held in Lubin. The entire situation took place in October last year, when a group of hooligan fans attacked security guards. After his arrest, the 28-year-old joined the group of four people who had previously been charged in the case.

The man now faces up to five years in prison.
