The theft took place on December 18 at one of the markets in Legnica. Taking advantage of the phone-stand employees’ momentary inattention, the young man stole a mobile phone left on the counter. Police officers from the Department for Combating Crimes Against Property identified and arrested the perpetrator.
The 23-year-old confessed to the crime. He could now face up to five years in prison.
