For police officers, the Christmas period is a time of intensive work. Traffic police officers checked not only speed, but also drivers’ sobriety. They also checked the technical condition of vehicles and how passengers—especially children—were transported. Officers also showed no leniency toward road hooligans who violated speed limits or overtook “three abreast”.

During the holiday weekend, there were 9 road collisions, mainly caused by speeding and recklessness. Fortunately, there were no road accidents on the roads of our county. In addition, police officers detained 3 intoxicated drivers.
